Multi-Generational Housing Partnership
Ecumen has signed a pre-development contract with Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington to explore the feasibility of multi-generational housing on their campus.
As you will see from the article "Some Retirees Opting for Campus Life" by Abigail Jones at the New York Times, college campuses are offering retirees communities where they can stay active intellectually, culturally, and physically. One couple is quoted as saying "We knew that being around a university would bring a lot to offer in terms of the stimulation, the performing arts and lifelong learning. We're here for life".
