Senior Housing & Services -More than just a place to call Home. Ecumen's Lifestyle Convenant
I recently did an interview with a reporter for Finance and Commerce, a Minneapolis based newspaper that closely monitors the Twin Cities business pulse. The interview focused on one of Ecumen's newest properties, the Seasons at Maplewood currently under construction and expected to be ready for occupancy in September, 2010. The reporter, while interested in the size, scope, and amenities to be provided within this community, seemed really taken by the notion of the Ecumen Lifestyle Covenant and wrote about it in her article.
The Ecumen Lifestyle Covenant is a partnership between us and each of our residents to take responsibility for the lifestyle choices of each resident. We pledge to support each individual's decision about lifestyle choices and make a commitment to help them be successful and fulfilled, and to live their life the way they want to. After our customer and we finalize The Lifestyle Covenant together, our customer and the people who will be working closely with him or her sign the following statement:
By signing this covenant, you (the customer) are making a pledge to take responsibility for your choice of lifestyle. We (the Ecumen Team Members) pledge to support your decisions and commit to providing you with the resources we have available to help you be successful and fulfilled in your new home.
Understanding the expectations and delivering on those expectations is another way that Ecumen creates home for the residents we serve.
