It's not every senior housing development that has the view of rolling farm land and windmills, or dining room window treatments made from farming grain sacks.  But Ecumen's newest senior housing community is built in the agricultural hotbed Worthington, Minnesota.  And our customer focus groups said that we should honor that agricultural heritage.  That we did.  And it's been a great conversation starter among residents.

The new senior housing is an expansion of Ecumen's Meadows of Worthington community, which is located adjacent to the Worthington YMCA and Worthington community college..  This expansion includes 108 apartments: 52 apartments that include assisted living services, 42 independent living apartments where customers can add a la carte assisted living services and 14 memory care suites.  Following are several photos from the new Ecumen community.

A.  View of outside front entrance
B.  View from apartment deck overlooking fields and windmills
C.  View of dining room kitchen and grain sack window treatments
D. View of liquor lockers in resident gathering room
